Bite,don't lick!

I fell in love with Cake Pops (cute little cakes in all shapes and forms, put on a lollipop stick) from the moment I saw them in a random magazine at the bookstore. I just love my sweets to look pretty, cute and decorated when possible, so you can imagine why I got all excited when I found out there was another new fabulous looking variant out there; Ice Cream Cone Cake Pops!

Yup that's right; yummy cake dressed up as scoops of ice cream in a real waffle cone, topped off with a 'cherry' made of a red peanut M&M... now doesn't that sounds delicious?! I think they look just as yum & fun as the real deal and the cool part is; these won't drip!:P

Jeremy Scott X Adidas X "Snuggle Bear"?

"Nooo, they killed Snuggle bear!!" that was my first reaction to the preview pic's of Jeremy Scott's sneaker design for Adidas Originals Spring / Summer 2011.

Remember the cute bear on the bottles of fabric softener? He used to be quite popular in the late 80's/ early 90's and lately I've been spotting this cute character used in accessories more and more on the streets of Tokyo for example.

I actually remembered I had this fantastic warm 'n soft aqua bathrobe with his face on the back as a kid which I absolutely adored and I have to admit I still own some of his items..

Anyways, the bear in the sneakers just reminded my very much of him.

As for the sneakers, I'm really in love with the pink version and I definitely hope to get my hands on them for next spring!^^

Till then, I'm contemplating to dig up my old stuffed up Snuggle bears and decapitate them

in the name of fashion to use them for some cute D.I.Y accessory projects and just wear

the other 2 fabulous winged pairs of JS sneakers I already own!^^

The Nail Filezz July'10

I love 'getting my nails did' every month and this month I even got to do it twice..

I used to have acrylics but lately I experienced some trouble with the overlay lifting, so

my nail artist and I decided to give gel a try and go for a new set of extra long stilettos.

I was absolutely psyched about the length and the My Little Pony inspired result but this

set of nails didn't only lift, nooo, they all completely fell of after a day or 5! O.O Most

likely cause is stress or a hormonal change..yeah I'm tellin' ya; hormones are a b*tch!

So I switched back to a little shorter set of acrylic stilettos a week ago, this time inspired

by the colors of the uber cute Kokeshi doll my girl Otti got me for my B.day.^^

Hope these will stay till' August..

Amica Publication July'10
